Trip information

Nature-responsible safari will help you explore the best six days of your Tanzania safari. You will travel through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.  On your first day, you will travel through Tarangire, which is the home of elephants. You will also explore other wildlife in their natural habitats, and then next, you will travel to Serengeti, which is the home of several wildlife species, including big cats, big five wildebeests, and other wildlife. At Ngorongoro Crater, you will witness rhinos.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrived at Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and proceed to the immigration desk for a visa stamp. Before leaving the desk, make sure your passport is correctly stamped. Outside the airport, you will meet with your safari guide with a signboard with one of your names. Depart the airport and drive to Haradali home for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha-Tarangire National Park (approximate: 1 hour 54 min)

After your night in Arusha, on the this day, you will have a full game drive  to Tarangire National Park. Around 6:30 am, after breakfast with your packaged lunch boxes, you will depart for Tarangire. If you are a fan of elephants, then Tarangire is the place for you. Known as the ‘home of elephants’, Tarangire is famous for holding a large number of elephant herds and baobab trees. It was named after the Tarangire River, which crosses the park. You will also enjoy your packed lunch with an amazing view of nature and wildlife. After your safari trip within Tarangire, you will drive to Karatu Pamoja Olea Farm for dinner and overnight. Staying at Pamoja will give you a chance for an early morning start the next day as you will be just a 20-minute drive from the Ngorongoro gate to Serengeti.

6 Days / 5 Nights Tanzania Safari

Day 3 : Pamoja - Serengeti National Park ( approximate : 4 hr 47 min )

This is probably going to be one of the most exciting days of your safari. After breakfast with your packed lunch, you will depart for the Great Serengeti, which will be within your reach. On this day, you will leave with a packed lunch after breakfast and head towards Serengeti through Ngorongoro. You will leave Pamoja by 7:30 a.m. On the way, the Rift Valley will be one of the most beautiful views in front of you and a stop at the Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint will be the highlight of the drive.
‘Serengeti’ is a Maasai word that means ‘Endless Plain’ as it represents a vast plain that goes towards the horizon. It is about 14,763 square kilometres and consists of three parts: the northern, southern, and central (Seronera). Serengeti is known for the existence of The Circle of Life and demonstrates this through The Great Migration. During this time of the year, the wildebeest will be moving from the Serengeti ecosystem via the Mara River to Masai Mara In Kenya and vice versa. This is an amazing safari experience so far.
You will arrive at Serengeti in the afternoon and stop for a picnic lunch, then proceed with a game drive in this beautiful, endless plain.

After the long day, you will head over to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Into wild Serengeti Get to have a beautiful view of the Serengeti at night and enjoy the closeness to Mother Nature.

Day 4 : Serengeti Game Drive Full Day

 Today you’ll get to experience a full day. ‘Serengeti’ is a Maasai word that means ‘Endless Plain’ as it represents a vast plain that goes towards the horizon. It is about 14,763 squared kilometers and consists of three parts; The Northern, Southern and Central (Seronera). Serengeti is known for the existence of The Circle of Life and demonstrates this through The Great Migration. You will depart Lion’s Paw with lunchboxes as you prepare to head over to Serengeti plains for game drive.
By being on the central part of Serengeti, you will enjoy the best experience due to it being at the heart of the Serengeti plains. It is famous for the great wildebeest crossing every year where they move from Maasai Mara game Reserve in Kenya to Serengeti through the Mara River in the months of September to January or early February.

If you are interested in seeing big cats; then Central Serengeti is the place for you. Being filled with Kopjes and rocky surface; it becomes a resting place for the predators. The Seronera is also a good place to do Hot Air Balloon to experience the African sunrise as the animals co-exist in the horizon. Experience a ‘Lion King’ moment and take in this unforgettable view.In the evening, you will be driven back to Into wild Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay in the marvellous Serengeti plains.

You will have lunch in picnic areas with your packed lunch.

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater Tour ( Approximate 4 hours )

After breakfast, depart for game drive in the Ngorongoro Known as the 8th wonder of the world, Ngorongoro Crater is known for its exquisite beauty. The animals are known to be active in the early morning, so an early morning drive is highly recommended. Depending on what you decide with your safari guide, you could have breakfast at the camp and carry a packed lunch or you could either carry both a packed breakfast and lunch. On this day, you will descend into the crater, which is filled with vegetation, forestry, and animals. The crater was formed by volcanic activities in the past that caused the creation of a caldera. The caldera got deeper and bigger, reaching a depth of about 610 meters.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers an area of about 260 square kilometres. Get to explore Africa’s ‘Garden of Eden’ in the comfort of your safari vehicle and get to spot the Big Five – Elephant, buffalo, leopard, black mane lion and the rare black rhino. You will also be able to see hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and yawning hippos. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the heart of this ancient volcanic crater, close to the hippo pool. In the evening, drive back to Tloma Lodge  for dinner and overnight

Day 6 : Departure
